Newsletter – Distribution of students for the regular Portuguese as an Additional Language (PLA) subjects – 2nd semester of 2017

English Version

The Language Proficiency Department of the International Relations Office (DRI) and the Faculty of Letters (FALE) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) present the distribution of students to the regular courses of Portuguese as an Additional Language (PLA) of the second semester of 2017. This division, based on the results of the placement test, also concerns the students approved in the Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese Language for Foreigners (Celpe-Bras) or in previous PLA courses offered by FALE/DRI, as well as those who showed interest in taking PLA – Basic course.

Attention:

• Regular PLA subjects are not open to students who do not have an affiliation with UFMG (as students, professors/researchers or trainees). In this case, we suggest the courses offered by the Faculty of Letters  Extension Center (CENEX): http://www.letras.ufmg.br/cenexx/.

Procedures for registration:

  • On the first day of Portuguese classes, students must inform their Portuguese teachers their registration numbers. The teachers will inform these numbers to the Coordination of PLA subjects, so that students will be registered by DRCA.
