Physical Education The objective of this program is to study human movement. The student can get a baccalaureate or a teaching licensure or both. Duration: four years Nursing The program design emphasizes the development of the nursing process, the teaching skills for primary and secondary schools, and the management of laboratories and nursing services. Duration: four and a half years Pharmacy The program’s objective is to teach health professionals to work with medicine, food, and clinical analysis. Duration: five years Physiotherapy The program’s objective is to train professionals to dispense general health care. Duration: five years Audiology and Speech Pathology The program aims to prepare professionals who will deliver health care, being able to screen, identify, assess and interpret, diagnose, rehabilitate and work to prevent disorders of communication, always oriented toward multidisciplinary action. It grants a Bachelor degree. Duration: four years Medicine It trains professionals who will deliver health care, working in disease prevention and rehabilitation and assistance to the infirm. Duration: six years Dentistry The program’s objective is to train professionals with an experience in different kinds of dental practice, with a broad understanding of individual and collective oral health. Duration: four and a half years Occupational Therapy The program’s objective is to promote the individual’s occupational health, enabling him or her to take on significant day-to-day roles, tasks, and activities.
