<\/div>[vc_column_text]A Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Ecol\u00f3gica, espa\u00e7o que engloba uma extensa \u00e1rea de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o natural e educa\u00e7\u00e3o socioambiental no campus Pampulha da UFMG, retomou recentemente as atividades presenciais do Programa de Extens\u00e3o Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Ecol\u00f3gica (Proeco).<\/p>\n

Com o objetivo de promover a educa\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental de forma cr\u00edtica, o programa oferece \u00e0 comunidade escolar de Belo Horizonte e regi\u00e3o metropolitana a intera\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00f3xima com o meio ambiente e a reflex\u00e3o sobre tem\u00e1ticas e aspectos ambientais.<\/p>\n

As visitas presenciais estavam suspensas, desde mar\u00e7o de 2020, em decorr\u00eancia da pandemia de covid-19.[\/vc_column_text]

A reabertura j\u00e1 tem contado com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de diversas institui\u00e7\u00f5es. Na quarta-feira (18),\u00a0foi a vez dos\u00a0estudantes e professores da Escola Escola Kid\u00b4s Village participar de uma trilha guiada \u2013 em que conheceram algumas esp\u00e9cies presentes no local, sejam elas nativas ou n\u00e3o \u2013 e da\u00a0Oficina bicho-pau.<\/em><\/p>\n

A professora de artes da escola, Marilza Dutra, que acompanhou a visita, destacou os benef\u00edcios dessas atividades ao ar livre para as crian\u00e7as. \u201cEsse contato direto com a natureza proporciona um\u00a0conhecimento para al\u00e9m da sala de aula, provoca \u2018novos olhares\u2019 e resgata a import\u00e2ncia da rela\u00e7\u00e3o com nosso ecossistema\u201d.<\/p>\n

A professora acrescenta que abordar as quest\u00f5es ambientais \u00e9 um dos seus prop\u00f3sitos pedag\u00f3gicos \u201cpara criar a consci\u00eancia do cuidado com a natureza e com preserva\u00e7\u00e3o desde cedo, tornando isso parte integrante da vida dos estudantes. N\u00f3s buscamos levar a mem\u00f3ria deste lugar, \u00e9 uma experi\u00eancia para o resto da vida\u201d, disse.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m da trilha guiada, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel escolher\u00a0oficinas<\/a>:\u00a0bicho-pau, cart\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gico, descarte, energia e pigmentos s\u00e3o algumas das op\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

As oficinas tratam tamb\u00e9m de quest\u00f5es socioculturais e pol\u00edtico-econ\u00f4micas, que envolvem os povos tradicionais, como povos ind\u00edgenas, ribeirinhos, quilombolas e seringueiros. Os conte\u00fados reconhecem a contribui\u00e7\u00e3o desses povos para manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da vida no planeta terra, inclusive da esp\u00e9cie humana.<\/p>\n

Integra\u00e7\u00e3o ensino, pesquisa e extens\u00e3o\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Em 2022, a Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Ecol\u00f3gica vai\u00a0comemorar 30 anos e uma programa\u00e7\u00e3o especial est\u00e1 sendo preparada para celebrar as tr\u00eas d\u00e9cadas de atividades no ano que ser\u00e1 marcado, tamb\u00e9m, pelas comemora\u00e7\u00f5es dos 95 anos da UFMG.<\/p>\n

A \u00e1rea preservada foi tombada em 1992 como Patrim\u00f4nio Cultural de Belo Horizonte. O local abriga caracter\u00edsticas dos biomas Mata Atl\u00e2ntica e Cerrado, sendo\u00a0conhecido, ainda, por contribuir para a integra\u00e7\u00e3o das atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extens\u00e3o, pilares da Universidade.<\/p>\n

L\u00e1, por exemplo,\u00a0professores de diversas unidades acad\u00eamicas ministram aulas de suas disciplinas. S\u00e3o realizadas tamb\u00e9m\u00a0aulas de campo de turmas do Instituto de Ci\u00eancias Biol\u00f3gicas (ICB), Instituto de Geoci\u00eancias (IGC) e de outras unidades da UFMG.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m disso, a Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Ecol\u00f3gica desempenha um papel importante no\u00a0fomento \u00e0s atividades de pesquisa para al\u00e9m da Universidade.<\/p>\n
