On the 24th, 25th and 26th of May, the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences of UFMG will host the Seminar “For a Euro and South American criminology”. The initiative is an organization of the Erasmus/SuCCESS project, which promotes collaboration between European and South American universities for the exchange of experiences, transfer of knowledge and improvement of higher education offers in the areas of criminology and public security.

The event aims to encourage the sharing of research and teaching experiences between the institutions that make up the Erasmus/SuCCESS consortium and contribute to strengthening the cooperation network between universities and the specialization and master’s courses that were created as part of the Union’s investment European in design.

Over the three days, there will be a series of debates on the issue of cybercrime, violence in the school context and the imprisonment of vulnerable populations, with national and international researchers. Debates and presentations will be in Portuguese and Spanish. Certificates will be issued for those who register and sign the attendance list.
