She completed a degree in Physics at UFMG (1983), Master's in Philosophy from UFMG (1993), PhD in Epistemology from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris (2004) and postdoctoral from Stanford University. She has experience in the area of Philosophy, with emphasis on Epistemology, working mainly on the following subjects: philosophy of science, transcendental philosophy and philosophy of quantum mechanics. He carried out a postdoctoral internship at Unit 598 of the Institut National de la Sant\u00e9 et de la Recherche M\u00e9dicale (INSERM U598-Maladies oculaires et innovations therap\u00eautiques), Paris, France (2004\/05).<\/p><p>He is currently Full Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Products at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Coordinator of the Inovasense Research Group \u2013 Pharmaceutical Research and Innovation. He was coordinator of the Pharmacy Area at CAPES in the four-year period 2014\/17 and Deputy Coordinator of the Pharmacy Area at CAPES in the four-year period 2018\/22. He was a visiting professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, from 1995 to 1996. He is currently a professor at the Department of Structural Engineering at UFMG. A. da Gama Cerqueira is an associate professor at Cedeplar and the Department of Economic Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He was Pro-Rector of Planning and Development at UFMG (2014-2018) and Director of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at UFMG (2018-2022). He also served as special advisor to the Rector of UFMG (2010-2011), director of Cedeplar (2011-2014), and editor of Nova Economia (2006-2009). Currently, he chairs the Board of Trustees of Fundep, the UFMG Support Foundation (2023-). He holds a degree in economics from UFMG (1984), a master's degree (1999), and a doctorate (2005) in philosophy from the same institution. He has experience in the areas of economics and philosophy, with an emphasis on the history of economic thought, economic methodology, and political economy. She received a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Bras\u00edlia (1982), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology) from the University of Bras\u00edlia (1985) and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Universite de Lausanne, Switzerland (1990). She held a postdoctoral internship at the University of Iowa (1991-1996) and a sabbatical at the University of Maryland (2008), in the United States. She is group leader at INCT Vacinas and sub-coordinator of the Vaccine Technology Center (CTVacinas). She is a Full Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and CNPq Level 1B Productivity Researcher. He is currently an Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in the area of \u200b\u200bCondensed Matter Physics, with emphasis on Surfaces and Interfaces; Films and Filaments; Materials and Applied Physics. He works mainly on the following topics: infrared, visible and X-ray sensors, microfabrication, and electron microscopy.
