Graduated in Electronic Engineering from ITA, in S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, SP, he did a doctorate in speech sciences at the Speech Communication Institute in Grenoble, where he worked with linguists and phoneticists. He directed the junior research group \u201cSensorimotor Coordination\u201d at the Max-Planck Institute for Human Brain and Cognitive Science in Munich, where he lived with experimental psychologists. Back in France, he is currently working at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Center, where he interacts with physicians, physiologists and neuroscientists.
