Awarded at the International Kinetic Art Competition, Florida, USA, Gary DiBenedetto&#8217;s works are compositions developed through the assembly of various materials &#8211; sculptures, for example &#8211; that produce physical movement to generate sound. Through sounds recorded in natural and industrial environments, his compositions are sound collages that seek to convey political and social messages.
