We dedicate ourselves to the investigation of the spatial practices that constitute multiple cosmologies, insurgencies and urban coexistences. In addition, the group aims to study, prototype and disseminate new imaginaries for everyday life through curatorship, actions, pedagogies, projects and editorial experiments, and in dialogue with the arts, politics and traditional knowledge. Headquartered at the UFMG School of Architecture, Cosm\u00f3polis brings together researchers in different lines of research, hosts study groups, meetings and debates of various citizen movements, in addition to functioning as a shared workspace and platform for the promotion and development of projects of interest public for students and graduates, in the mediation between the university and the city.<\/p>\n<p>The group organizes itself from multiple small groups for its various research. As a principle, we have been organizing ourselves to study and research in a decentralized way, so that the arrangement of professors and students is different each time they graduate [Piseagrama Magazine, RMBH Planning Historiography, Architectures of the Insurrection, Chronology of Urban Thought, Peripheral Condition, GEHL, ColaBora, Urban Struggles, among others].
