{"id":4334,"date":"2024-02-07T13:38:59","date_gmt":"2024-02-07T15:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ufmg.br\/ieat\/?page_id=4334"},"modified":"2024-05-15T11:18:03","modified_gmt":"2024-05-15T14:18:03","slug":"seminar-cycle-urban-theories-and-practices-paths","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ufmg.br\/ieat\/en\/events\/seminar-cycle-urban-theories-and-practices-paths\/","title":{"rendered":"Seminar cycle: Urban Theories and Practices: paths"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> From August, 10 to October, 16, 2023<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Auditorium 1 of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of UFMG<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by a previous event, held in 2015, which resulted in the publication of the book \u201cUrban theories and practices: conditions for urban society\u201d, the <strong>Seminar Urban Theories and Practices: Paths<\/strong> aimed to deepen the debate on urban theories and practices, having as guiding thread is the concept of &#8216;paths&#8217;, elaborated in several texts by the French philosopher and sociologist Henri Lefebvre.<\/p>\n<p>The idea of reflecting on &#8216;paths&#8217; permeates this author&#8217;s theoretical reflection on the inseparability between theory and practice, emphasizing the need to confront philosophy with the world.
