The growing interest in the topic has enabled the emergence of a new field of investigation which, under the name of Animal Studies, has established itself as a space for the intersection of disciplines from the Human, Social and Biological Sciences, around two major axes of discussion. : what concerns the animal itself and the so-called \u201canimality\u201d, and what concerns the complex and controversial relationships between men and non-human animals.
