{"id":5349,"date":"2024-07-16T10:25:33","date_gmt":"2024-07-16T13:25:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ufmg.br\/ieat\/?page_id=5349"},"modified":"2024-07-16T10:26:14","modified_gmt":"2024-07-16T13:26:14","slug":"the-frontiers-of-knowledge","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ufmg.br\/ieat\/en\/events\/the-frontiers-of-knowledge\/","title":{"rendered":"The frontiers of knowledge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> October 9th and 10th, 2006<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> UFMG Rector\u2019s Auditorium<\/p>\n<p>Promoted by the Institute for Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT) and the Directorate of Cultural Action (DAC), the event took stock of the concept of advanced knowledge, how to articulate it with the transdisciplinary notion, identifying emerging directions of research in the various fields of to know.<\/p>\n<p>The opening conference, given by Lilia Schwarcz, from USP, dealt with the theme: Turn of the century: from the impasses of the 19th to the projections of the 21st. The exhibition took place at 9:15 am, in the Rectory auditorium, Pampulha campus.
