In August 2019, UFMG introduced the Minor in International Studies (Formação Transversal em Estudos Internacionais). Taught entirely in English or Spanish, the program offers undergraduate courses with an international or comparative focus, fostering a diverse academic environment in terms of nationality, ethnicity, and values.

Each semester, courses are available across various disciplines, including Life Sciences and Health, Humanities, Applied Social Sciences and Arts, as well as Exact and Technological Sciences.

All international students on mobility at UFMG can participate. For more information on enrolling, send an email to intercambios@dri.ufmg.br.
