How to read the rankings
Each ranking measures different dimensions. ARWU favours high-impact scientific output. QS and THE combine academic reputation, citations, internationalisation and student-to-staff ratio. Impact rankings assess contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals. Bands such as 501–600 mean that the ranking does not publish exact positions beyond a certain point.
