David Miller was Karl Popper’s assistant in the 1960s at the London School of Economics, with whom he worked for 30 years. He has been a professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Warwick since 1969. He was a visiting professor in Brazil (USP), Argentina and Mexico. He is a member of the British Society for the Philosophy of Science, Secretary of the British Logic Colloquium and chairs the British National Committee on Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science.

He has published several books and articles on logic, probability and philosophy of science, some of which he co-authored with Karl Popper. His Popper Selections anthology has been translated into several languages, including Chinese, German, Spanish and Swedish.
