Bachelor and Master’s in Computer Science at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1990-1993), and PhD in Computer Science at the University of Rochester (1997).
Full Professor at Federal University of Minas Gerais since 2012. His main research interests are Distributed Computing and Data Mining, as well as their application on social media, cibersecurity, health, and others.
