Holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology and Human Development from the University of São Paulo (USP). Internship of Post-Doc at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (1999-2000), and in the University of California, at Davis (2011-2012). Member of the International Society for Intelligence Research. Associate Professor at the Graduate Program in Neuroscience and at the Psychology Department at Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). She coordinated the Graduate Program in Neuroscience, and the Graduate Program in Psychology. Founder of the Society of Psychological Assessment from Minas Gerais. Co-founder of the Psychological Assessment of Individual Diferences Lab. Member at the executive committee at the World Association for Personality Psychology. She has experience in psychological assessment, adaptation and validation of psychological tests, individual and group intelligence differences, and cognitive processes. Works as an ad hoc reviewer for several national and international research foundations.
