Fabio G. Cozman is a Full Professor at Escola Politécnica (Poli), Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence at USP (c4ai.inova.usp.br), and researcher focusing on machine learning and representation of knowledge and uncertainty. Engineering graduate at Poli-USP and PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, he served as editor of the Artificial Intelligence Journal, Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and Journal of Approximate Reasoning. He was the coordinator of the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence of the Brazilian Computer Society, where he received the Scientific Merit Award in AI.
