Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Digital Innovation (DECTI) of the Office of Science, Technology and Digital Innovation at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCIT)


Graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Brasília (UnB) and specialist in Telecommunications. From 2003 to 2010, he served in several Technical Groups and Committees of industrial and technological policies in the country (Industrial, Technological and Foreign Trade Policy – PITCE, Productive Development Policy – PDP and Plano Brasil Maior – PBM and the National Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation – ENCTI). He was General Coordinator of the General Coordination of Microelectronics of the Department of Informatics Policy (2003) of the MCTI. He participated in the creation of the Support Program for Technological and Industrial Development of the Semiconductor Industry – PADIS (2007). He was MCTIC’s representative in the Millennium Bug Commission (2000), in the Digital TV Technical Group (2004 and 2005), in the Interministerial Technical Group GT-SINIAV Specifications – Vehicle Identification System (2006), in the Brazil- Japan Digital TV System (since 2005), in the Basic Productive Process Technical Group (since 1993), Coordinator of the Interministerial Technical Group GTI-PADIS, responsible for monitoring the PADIS Program and member of the CI-Brasil Program Coordination Committee, created in 2006.Between January 2019 and June 2022, he held the position of General Coordinator of the General Coordination of Digital Technologies (CGTD) of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Secretariat (SEMPI) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI). Since June 2022 he has been Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Digital Innovation (DECTI) of the MCTI Secretariat of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
