Marco Aurélio Romano-Silva graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), completed a PhD in Biochemistry from UFMG in 1994. He is currently Professor of Psychiatry and head of the Dept of Mental Health and Coordinator of the Center of Technology in Molecular Medicine – Faculty of Medicine/UFMG. Member of the Minas Gerais Academy of Medicine. He works in the field of Neuroscience, with an emphasis on Psychiatry, Neuropsychopharmacology and Neuromodulation.
