Professor at Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) and Planning Director of the Brazilian Society of Computer Science.


Holds BSc in Eletronic Engineering, MSc in Computer Science and PhD in Informatics. Works as a Full Processor at Federal Univesity of Amazonas since 2002. Co-founded the “Cunhantã Digital” program, and takes part in the “Women in Computer Science” movement. Also, is the consultant of the “Meninas Digitais” program. Former Director of the Computer Institute of UFAM, board member of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br), and of the “Associação do Polo Digital de Manaus” from Softex Brazil. Substitute Advisor of the Administrative Board of Nic.br, and of the Committee of Development and Research Activities in Amazonia (CAPDA). General Coordinator of the Super program for education and research in partnership with Samsung. Former Technology Inovation rector of UFAM, Director of Planning Brazilian Society of Computer Science and Coordinator of the Internet Forum in Brazil and of the Youth program from Cgi.br.
