The Graduate Board of Nutrition and Health at UFMG is opening the selection process for Graduate Programs in Nutrition and Health, at the Master’s and Doctorate levels, with the possibility of obtaining a scholarship during the course. Candidates from Brazil and other countries may apply in the regular selection process, following the rules of the available Notice.

The Selection Process is a continuous flow, with a minimum of one selection per year and a maximum of three (beginning, middle and end of the year), until the vacancies offered annually are filled.

The evaluation process for Master’s candidates is carried out in two eliminatory and classificatory stages: 1) test of specific knowledge according to the intended line of research; 2) Oral Discussion on the Work Plan.

For the Doctorate level, the process occurs in three stages, two eliminatory and classificatory and one classificatory: 1) Evaluation of the research project (Elimination and Classification); 2) Seminar on the research project and oral argument (Elimination and Qualification); 3) Analysis of the supporting documents presented in the candidate’s Curriculum Vitae and Academic Record (Qualification).

To remain in the courses, the student must prove his/her proficiency in English. Foreign candidates must also prove their proficiency in Portuguese. Check the announcement for the documents accepted to prove proficiency.
