II Information and Imaginary Colloquium, held by GEDII – Information and Imaginary Studies Office of ECI/UFMG.

This event addressed the dimensions of dis(in)formation, combined with debates on memetics, politics and informational practices. The Colloquium was formed by renowned professionals from Information Science, Communication, Sociology and Cultural Production, the opening debate featured Rafael Capurro (Institut Für Digitale Ethik), Marco Schneider (IBICT/UFF), Arthur Bezerra (IBICT/UFRJ).

The main theme was debates on ethics, politics and information, taking into account the interrelationships between these themes and taking into account the importance of studies in the area of Information Science and in human, social and applied sciences as a whole.
