The Fundep Magda Soares Chair of Basic Education at IEAT/UFMG is accepting applications for a technical support scholarship for UFMG undergraduate students. Applications are open from September 4th to 19th, 2025.

Preference is given to UFMG students enrolled in the Animation and Digital Arts, Visual Arts, Design, Journalism, Public Relations, or Advertising programs, regularly enrolled, and in their third semester or higher.

Strong writing skills, proficiency in editing software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects), and a proactive approach are required. The scholarship is worth R$770.00 per month, valid for 12 months, and renewable for up to two years.

The selected fellow will work in the communications department of IEAT/UFMG. Responsibilities include supporting the production of institutional content, including researching visual references, editing and finalizing graphic and audiovisual products, creating visual identities, and supporting the planning of social media content.

The workload is 20 hours per week, with in-person activities at IEAT, UFMG’s Pampulha campus, in Belo Horizonte.
