Claudio Maíz is a PhD in Literature, professor of Latin American Literature in the 20th-21st centuries at the National University of Cuyo (Argentina) and researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research of Argentina (CONICET). He did postdoctoral work at the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of Santiago de Chile and is Director of Cuadernos del CILHA. Magazine of the Centro Interdisciplinario de Literatura Hispanoamericana, of the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. He is also Director of the Comité Académico de la Carrera Doctorado de Letras de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and of the Instituto de Literaturas Modernas de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad Nacional de Cuyo.
