In the months of May, June and July, the second edition of the Debate Cycle of the Network for Studies on Democracy and Disinformation (REDD) was held, with the presence of renowned national researchers who are references in studies on disinformation, fake news, post-truth , and other challenges for contemporary democratic regimes. REDD is a research group at IEAT/UFMG.

This edition covered the following topics: “Information Disintermediation”, “Militia, faith and rifle” and “Engagement, polarization and algorithms: a critical analysis of the role of social networks”.
