The FUNDEP/IEAT Short-Term Chair Program aims to foster the presence of internationally renowned foreign researchers at UFMG, promoting interaction with local research groups, encouraging the transdisciplinary nature of studies, and thereby promoting the internationalization of both the Institute and the University.
Applications for the program may be submitted from August 18 to October 18, 2026.
The program will select up to three researchers for 30-day visits, which may take place between May 2027 and April 2028.
Nominations must be submitted by active UFMG faculty members holding a doctoral degree and a proven track record in areas with transdisciplinary potential. If approved, the nominators will serve as hosts for the chairholders during their stay at the University.
