The course’s objectives are to develop research projects in Social Sciences, to qualify teachers for secondary and higher education, and to provide the public and private sectors with consulting help on social planning.
Duration: four years (baccalaureate) and four years and a half (baccalaureate and teaching licensure), with concentrations.

Philosophers can work as teachers and researchers. The course offers two degrees: baccalaureate and teaching licensure.

Pedagogy
Its objective is to train professionals capable of improving the teaching conditions of Brazilian education. The professional can work as primary and secondary teacher, school principal, and teacher of continuing education.
Duration: four years (daytime) and four years and a half (nighttime)




Psychology
The course aims to qualify psychologists. Graduates can work in practices, private clinics, public health stations, hospitals, rehab centers, enterprises, and institutions of higher education and research
Duration: four years (baccalaureate and teaching licensure) and five years (psychologist).
