Intranet is a secure internal computer network that uses Internet services such as WWW and e-mail.

The main purpose of an intranet is to share enterprise information among employees.

The UFMG Administrative Intranet unites all the university’s administrative intranets to share documents and services among the academic community. Access is possible only via the UFMG network by means of any web browser at http://www.cecom.ufmg.br/.

It was developed by Computer Center (Cecom) for the UFMG administrative community.
