The FUNDEP/IEAT Chair program aims to contribute to the advancement of transdisciplinary research at UFMG and encourage the presence of internationally renowned researchers at the University. The chair also aims to promote interaction between these researchers and groups at UFMG, encourage the promotion of research in collaboration with researchers and research groups abroad, and encourage the development of actions that generate international publications and events.
Applications may be submitted for visiting positions (duration of 3 to 12 days) and resident positions (duration of 15 to 30 days). For the Resident Chair, a scholarship of up to R$28,000.00 will be paid, and this amount will also be proportional to the length of the professor’s stay at UFMG.
