The FUNDEP/IEAT International Visiting Scholars Program aims to encourage the presence at UFMG of researchers internationally recognized for the excellence, relevance, renown, and advanced, transdisciplinary nature of their work. It also seeks to foster interaction between these researchers and UFMG groups organized around shared research programs, thereby promoting the internationalization of both the Institute and the University.
Applications for the program may be submitted from August 18 to October 18, 2026.
The program will select up to five researchers for visits lasting a maximum of 12 days; these visits must take place between May 2027 and April 2028, in accordance with the UFMG academic calendar.
Nominations must be submitted by active UFMG faculty members who hold a doctoral degree and have a proven track record in the relevant field of knowledge.
