Residency Period: 03/01/2014 to 02/28/2015

Professor Ana Paula Paes de Paula holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (1994), a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Government from the Getulio Vargas Foundation – SP (1998) and a PhD in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2003). She is currently a professor and researcher at the Department of Administrative Sciences at the Faculty of Economic Sciences (CAD / FACE) and at the Graduate Center in Administration (CEPEAD) at UFMG. She works mainly with the following themes: critical theory, psychoanalysis, subjectivity, epistemology, self-management, solidarity economy, public management, social participation, teaching and research in administration.


FREUDO-FRANKFURTIAN APPROACH AND KNOWLEDGE PRODUCTION: A THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR TRANSDISCIPLINARY STUDIES.

The main objective of the project is to describe and analyze how the Freudian-Frankfurtian epistemology points to a transdisciplinary production of knowledge, indicating new theoretical and methodological paths for transdisciplinary studies.
