· Circuito Cultural Praça da Liberdade – Bairro Savassi – Historical buildings turned into museums and cultural spaces such as Casa Fiat de Cultura, Memorial Minas Gerais and Espaço do Conhecimento UFMG. Open from Tuesday to Sunday.

· Mercado Municipal – centro/downtown – A kind of farmers’ market offering a great variety of fruits, vegetables, regional food, health products, medicinal herbs and a lot more. A beer and some fried beef with jiló or mandioca is a must.

· Parque das Mangabeiras – a wonderful view of the city and the Atlantic Forest

· Pátio Savassi – Contorno Avenue near Praça da Savassi. Movie theater and a great variety of restaurants.

Shopping Del Rey – Avenida Presidente Carlos Luz, 3001 – Movie theater and a great variety of restaurants.
