Locations: Didactic Activities Center 1 and 2

After holding a series of meetings around Interdisciplinarity in Undergraduate Studies, IEAT, in partnership with several bodies at UFMG, resumed the theme of Higher Education at UFMG in 2015. The meetings aim to bring together various actors involved in previous initiatives and also other researchers, internal and external to the university, to debate Higher Education at the University.

The Colloquium – open to the broad participation of managers, researchers, teachers, students and technicians from Higher Education – aims to induce the creation of environments and mechanisms that favor the intertwining of knowledge and practices – covering the different areas of professional training, with the proposal to subsidize reforms and improvements in Higher Education. The debates will be guided by reflection on the relevance of an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach in undergraduate studies.

The first activity in the series of meetings, the “Colloquium on Higher Education: transdisciplinary dimensions and perspectives – access to the University” took place on the 15th and 16th of October 2015 in the CAD 2 Auditorium. Organized in partnership with the Directorate of Innovation and Methodologies of Teaching (GIZ) of the Dean of Undergraduate Studies (Prograd), the event was held in parallel to the “Congress on Innovation and Teaching Methodologies”.
