About the Circle:
Objective:
This research circle has the general objective of analyzing how teachers in the initial years of Elementary Education, specifically from the Pedagogical Center of UFMG, construct, deconstruct and reconstruct knowledge around the curricula developed by them, in the transdisciplinary articulation of different areas of knowledge involved in the literacy process of children between 5 and 9 years old enrolled in the institution.
Specific objectives:
- To map short curricula produced by teachers that articulate different areas of knowledge from a transdisciplinary perspective, recording the actions and potentialities present in them.
- To identify the strategies used by teachers to work with the areas of knowledge required in the official curricula (such as the BNCC) and the knowledge they produce to articulate such demands to their short curricula.
- To produce scientific dissemination materials in the area of education that assist in initial and continuing teacher training based on the narratives produced by teachers.
- To enhance the training actions developed at the Pedagogical Center, articulating them with others carried out at UFMG and in other public education networks in Minas Gerais.
