The Fundep Magda Soares Chair in Basic Education at IEAT/UFMG is currently accepting applications for two undergraduate research scholarships. Applications must be submitted between March 5th and 12th, 2026.
Eligible applicants are undergraduate students enrolled and attending any undergraduate teaching degree program at UFMG, starting from their third semester. Candidates should be interested in researching topics related to the construction of “hybrid spaces” in the training of basic education teachers and processes of constructing professional teaching knowledge, with a view to reflecting on the relationships between teaching work, digital culture, digital technologies, and the education of adolescents and young people in basic education schools.

Interviews: March 17th and 18th, 2026
Preliminary results: March 20th, 2026
