The Fundep Magda Soares Chair in K-12 Education at IEAT/UFMG is accepting applications, from April 1st to 8th, 2026, for an undergraduate research scholarship.

Undergraduate students enrolled and attending teacher training courses at UFMG, from the 2nd semester onwards, are eligible to apply. The desired profile includes strong writing skills, an interest in research, and an affinity with topics related to teacher training, digital culture, and educational technologies, especially in the context of Law 15.100/2025. Characteristics such as proactivity, creativity, and commitment are also valued.

The planned activities include literature review, document research, production of academic reports and abstracts, support in organizing events, and participation in activities with basic education schools, including observations, interviews, and conducting workshops. The workload is 20 hours per week, with activities primarily in person at the UFMG Pampulha campus and partner institutions.

Registration: April 1st to 8th, 2026
First stage results: April 10th, 2026
Interviews: April 14th and 15th, 2026
Preliminary results: by April 17th, 2026
Final results/approval: April 23rd, 2026
