Recently, the marketing of medicines, vaccines, and beauty products has expanded somewhat carelessly. Advertisements from both private companies and the government aim to reach consumers and influence their decision-making, often without considering applicable laws. Debates concerning the ethics and morality of these advertisements have been gaining considerable traction in academic and media circles for some time. We intend to propose a debate involving related fields, such as medicine, pharmacy, law, communications, etc., with the aim of clarifying the thinking of the consumer community.

Discussors: Professor Cláudio de Souza – UFMG School of Medicine. Professor Leonardo de Mello Ribeiro – Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences, UFMG.
