Understanding how the brain works has been receiving increasing attention from various fields of science and technology. In this context, visualizing the processes that occur in the brain occupies a prominent position, with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) currently being the main technique used for this purpose. In this meeting, we will discuss the capabilities and limitations of fMRI, as well as its fusion with electroencephalography (EEG) for imaging perceptual motor skills.
Speakers:
Dr. Daniel Edward Callan – ATR Neural Information Analysis Laboratories, Japan.
Dr. Edson Amaro Jr. – Department of Radiology, USP.
Discussors: Professor Hani Camille Yehia – UFMG School of Engineering.
Professor Márcio Flávio Dutra Moraes – UFMG Institute of Biological Sciences.
