The Institute for Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies – IEAT – holds an Annual Seminar every year. Opened by the rector of UFMG, professor Clélio Campolina, the IEAT 2012 Annual Seminar was attended by Pedro Paulo Funari, Director of the Center for Advanced Studies at Unicamp (CEAv) and Evando Mirra, professor Emeritus of the School of Engineering. A debate was held around the theme “IEAT Outlook for 2013” ​​and the results of the work carried out by IEAT resident professors were presented. At the end of the event, there was a presentation on the work developed by the IEAT research groups and the launch of the book “Oráculos de Uma Geografia Iluminista”, authored by Junia Ferreira Furtado, Resident Professor at IEAT (2007).
