The Institute for Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies – IEAT – holds an Annual Seminar every year. The 2016 IEAT Annual Seminar was held on October 21st, at the Álvaro Apocalypse Auditorium of the School of Fine Arts.
Two lectures were held in the morning. The first, on the topic of Science, Art, Education and Society, taught by professor Norberto Garcia Cairasco (USP), member of the IEAT Scientific Committee. And the second, by professor Britaldo Silveira Soares Filho from the Department of Cartography at UFMG, on the topic of Science in support of public policies.
In the afternoon, resident professors Eduardo de Campos Valadares (ICEx), Georg Otte (Fale), Maria do Carmo de Freitas Veneroso (EBA), Renan Springer de Freitas (FAFICH) and Stéphane Huchet (Architecture) presented the results of their projects developed in the IEAT Resident Teacher Program.
