The International Colloquium Biotechnology and the Human Condition aimed to create a space for interdisciplinary dialogue regarding the development of new technologies, especially those linked to genetics and molecular biology, and their anthropological implications in their most diverse aspects, with special emphasis on the ethical dimension . With this aim in mind, the event featured conferences and round tables given and coordinated by Brazilian and foreign experts.
