Round table The right-wing shift in Brazil and the world: reflections from history and social sciences
Date: September 12, 2019
Location: Nobre Auditorium of the Didactic Activities Center 1 (CAD 1)
The idea was to analyze the right-wing shift (if that is an appropriate expression) from the perspectives of history and social sciences (notably political science and anthropology), with the aim of understanding its origins and social, political and cultural impacts. With a close eye on global trends and the transnational circulation of ideas, the expectation is to contribute to a better understanding of current challenges and to imagine future scenarios.
Event organized in partnership with the History of the Present Time Laboratory (FAFICH).
