The FUNDEP/IEAT International Visits Program aims to encourage the presence at UFMG of researchers internationally recognized for their excellence, relevance, notoriety, and the advanced and transdisciplinary nature of their research. It also promotes the interaction of these researchers with UFMG groups organized around joint research programs, aiming at the internationalization of the Institute and the University.
Applications for the program are open from September 1 to October 31, 2025.
The program will select up to five researchers, whose visits will last a maximum of 12 days and must take place between March 2026 and April 2027, in accordance with the UFMG academic calendar.
Nominations must be made by UFMG faculty members currently serving, with a doctoral degree and proven experience in the nominated field. The invited researcher must possess international recognition, academic seniority, leadership skills in study groups, and experience in transdisciplinary fields.
Nominations must be submitted electronically to editais@ieat.ufmg.br by October 31, 2025.
