Nathan Henrique Santos Silva is an undergraduate student in Social Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). His studies and work focus on understanding modernity/coloniality and its implications for knowledge production in universities and the reproduction of social inequalities, with an emphasis on valuing the ways of being, knowing, and power of traditional and peripheral peoples and communities, understood as alternatives to the social problems historically engendered by the colonization process.
