The Institute of Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT/UFMG), in partnership with the UBIAS network (University-Based Institutes for Advanced Study), invites UFMG researchers (professors or post-doctoral students) to apply for the 5th edition of the Intercontinental Academia (ICA), which will have as its theme “Pluralities of Resonant Relationships”.

The initiative will bring together outstanding young researchers (up to 15 years after obtaining their doctorate degree) from different areas of knowledge for an international and interdisciplinary academic immersion. The meetings will take place in Erfurt (June/July 2026) and Belo Horizonte (March 2027), promoting in-depth dialogues on resonance theory and its multiple applications.

Deadline for internal applications – UFMG:
Interested parties with institutional ties to UFMG (professors or postdoctoral researchers) must submit their proposal to IEAT by August 24, 2025, sending the documentation required in the Call to the email: info@ieat.ufmg.br. After evaluation, the selected projects will receive a letter of institutional endorsement.

Official submission to ICA/UBIAS:
The letter of endorsement must accompany the application, which must be sent by the researcher to the international organization by August 31, 2025, to the address: mwk.bewerbungen@uni-erfurt.de
