Course Outline
In the context of several unprecedented global crises, transdisciplinarity is increasingly mentioned as a promising way of producing knowledge and making decisions. Although it emerged in the 1970s in Europe, the notion of transdisciplinarity is still under construction, being widely discussed and debated, and is also characterized by the inclusion of non-academic knowledge in the knowledge production process.
The course proposes a meeting between professors and students from various UFMG courses and external guests to discuss relevant contemporary topics based on transdisciplinary reflections. The proposal is to create a potential path for the production and reproduction of knowledge. The course is part of the Cross-Cutting Training in Scientific Communication at UFMG.
