The International Visits Program will encourage collaboration between university research groups and internationally recognized researchers.

The Institute for Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT/UFMG) is accepting applications for the FUNDEP/IEAT International Visits Program. Applications can be submitted from September 1 to October 31, 2025.
The aim is to promote the interaction of these researchers with groups at UFMG, organized around common research programs, leading to the internationalization of the Institute and the University.
The program will select up to five researchers, whose visits will last a maximum of 12 days and must take place between March 2026 and April 2027, in accordance with the UFMG academic calendar.
Nominations must be submitted by UFMG faculty members currently working, with a doctoral degree, and proven experience in the nominated field. The invited researcher must possess international recognition, academic seniority, leadership skills in study groups, and experience in transdisciplinary fields.
Nominations must be submitted electronically to editais@ieat.ufmg.br by October 31, 2025.

Final Results/Approval: December 19, 2025
