The Institute for Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT) at UFMG informs that, from September 9th to November 4th, 2024, registrations for the IEAT Resident Professor program are open, the objective of which is to support the carrying out of advanced research projects and transdisciplinary.

In-service UFMG professors, with contributions to the training of human resources and proven performance of research activities, can participate. Six vacancies are offered, covering the areas of knowledge of Humanities, Literature and Arts, Life Sciences including Health, and Natural Sciences and Technologies.

Those approved will have support from IEAT for the development of their research projects for the period from March 3rd to December 31st, 2025.

During the development of residency projects, approved researchers will have to carry out at least one academic activity, such as lectures, short courses, workshops and/or a workshop on their research topic. Residents may also, at their discretion, jointly offer credit-generating activities, with a minimum workload of 30 class hours, for undergraduate and postgraduate students at UFMG.

Registrations must be made exclusively via the email address editais@ieat.ufmg.br until November 4, 2024. In the “Subject” field, write: “the candidate’s name” – IEAT 2024 Resident Professor Program Application.

The results will be released by January 17, 2025.
