To begin the celebrations of its 25 years of creation, the Institute for Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT) at UFMG held the conference Ciência pouca é bobagem: Por que psicanálise não é pseudociência, with psychoanalysts Christian Dunker and Gilson Iannini. At the event, Christian Dunker and Gilson Iannini sought to requalify the debate on the scientificity of psychoanalysis, presenting new approaches and perspectives to face this problem, showing that defending psychoanalysis is, at the same time, defending science itself. years of the institute.
