The Chair in Traditional Knowledge aims to provide a space for symmetrical dialogue in which ancestrally practiced forms of education can take center stage within the University, fostering a true Afro-literacy/indigenization process that can guarantee benefits for both parties and, in a way, redistribute academic power. The initiative has the support of Federal Deputy Célia Xakriabá.
